Terms of Service

Arkive is a platform for setting up and solving trading-card plays on a digital board. You can create drafts, publish plays, browse community content, and maintain a public profile.

The Service is provided as-is for educational and entertainment purposes. Features, quotas, and availability may change without prior notice.

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws that apply to you. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with a parent or guardian’s consent.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or put other users at risk.

You keep ownership of the plays, text, profile details, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By publishing or uploading User Content, you grant Arkive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service.

Published plays and public profile fields (such as username, display name, avatar, and social links) may be visible to anyone. Drafts remain private to you unless you publish them or share access as the Service allows.

You represent that you have the rights to the User Content you submit and that it does not infringe others’ rights or break the law.

You agree not to: (a) harass, threaten, or impersonate others; (b) upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service; (c) scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what the law allows; (d) circumvent quotas, authentication, or access controls; (e) use the Service for commercial resale without our written permission; or (f) post content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative.

Automated access is only allowed through interfaces we expressly provide, and only within rate limits and these Terms.

Card names, images, logos, and other trademarks belong to their respective owners. Arkive is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those owners.

Catalogue data and images may come from third-party services. We do not claim ownership of that material. Your use of it through Arkive does not grant you any rights in the underlying intellectual property.

We may set daily or other limits on creating plays and other actions. Limits can differ by account type and may change over time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, or third-party failures may affect the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Board rules, legality checks, and solutions are tools for learning and play. They may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on them as official rulings.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arkive and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) ten US dollars (USD 10), if you paid nothing.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may stop providing the Service or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Chile, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Chile will have jurisdiction over disputes that cannot be resolved informally, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
